It's not just celebrities who come on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their movies, but sportsmen too love coming on funny man's show.
After welcoming country's Paralympians earlier, Kapil Sharma is all set to have a blast with Indian Kabaddi Champions who recently won the World Cup for our country.
Yes, you heard it right. Kabaddi players Ajay Thakur, Mohit Chillar and captain Anup Kumar would be soon seen creating a laughter riot on 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.

Kabaddi World Cup 2016 saw 114 million tuned in .


India may have lifted the third World Cup in Kabaddi, but for Indian men in blue, this was the first time of witnessing such thunderous response from the fans everywhere, be it on-ground, on-air or online. 
As per BARC’s TV viewership data, the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup, which saw 33 matches played between 12 countries in a span of 16 days, clocked a viewership of a whopping 114 million.

India announce 14-member squad for 2016 Kabaddi World Cup .

Two-time Asian Games gold medallist Anup Kumar was on Tuesday named India’s captain for the forthcoming Kabaddi World Cup.
The tournament will be played in Ahmedabad, beginning October 7 to 22.
Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev unveiled the team jersey at the event here, according to a release.
A 14-member squad for the event was named by Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) President Mridul Bhadauria.
India’s coach Balwan Singh said in the release: “Our aim is to have a balanced team composition for the upcoming World Cup. We are expecting the tournament to be more competitive than ever this year. It will be the biggest challenge that the Indian team has faced in recent times.”
Anup Kumar said: “I am extremely honoured to lead the country for the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup. It’s every sportsperson’s dream to represent their country at a global stage. I’m proud of my team and we will all work towards bringing honour to India.”
The Kabaddi World Cup will bring nations of diverse geographies -- the US, England, Australia, Iran, Poland, Thailand, Bangladesh, South Korea, Japan, Argentina, Kenya and hosts India -- together fighting it out for the top prize.

The 12 teams have been divided in two groups of six each.

Seven-time champions and favorites India will face South Korea in the opening match of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup, to be held in Ahmedabad from October 7 to 22.
